21 Going On Extinct

The title is completely irrelevant to the topic I am discussing but I've been going through this weird 'Fall Out Boy Take This to Your Grave' phase and that was the last song that played and it is now stuck in my head.  On a completely different note, it is Valentine's Day.  Maybe that's why I'm listening to that album... all that girl-hating music makes me feel better on Single Awareness Day.  Yes, I am single and have been for quite some time now.  Do I really care?  NO.  I've found that you're only single and young once, why waste it being in a relationship that's going to end or turn into marriage?  No bueno.  I'm too ambitious and independent to want that right now. Talk to my "This is what a Feminist looks like" badge about that.  It's not that I hate men or anything, it's just that I'm not going ape crap over the fact that guys are stupid at this age and incapable of caring for anyone but themselves right now.  I know there are guys out there that are good-hearted gentlemen but I'm not going to go wasting my singality (yes, I just made that up) searching for them.  I'm going to work on me.  And when I'm ready to be in a committed relationship it will find me.
