You don't have to pretend to be important anymore...

My roots....  I'm getting back to them.  I forgot that horrid smell of other people's body fluids all over your clothes and that wonderful feeling of knowing that everyone around you is just as in love with the song that is playing as you are and that moment when you get shoved into someone and you just shove them right back and the fact that your throat hurts and you can't hear a thing after you get out of the venue....

It's amazing.  I love rock shows.  The vitality and complete and utter pureness of it all.  It's about the music.  I miss it.  And I want it back.  And I'm going to get it back.

Last night was just amazing.  I tried the indie scene.  It wasn't really working for me.

The way it should've been all along...

It's summer, it's summer, where night belongs to lust and lovers...

I could cry I am so relieved that it is summertime and I'm feeling fine...  I haven't blogged in a very long time and that is mainly due to the fact that I've been overwhelmed with ridiculous school and work.  Now that that's over, well, at least the school part, I can finally relax and just chill.  A whole lotta surfing, sleeping, and well, yes, exercising (considering the amount of finals week stress feeding I did...).  But I'm also excited for the fact that I get to read all the books I've been missing out on...!!!  Yay!  Summer reading!  I remember in high school when I used to have summer reading and I would dread it because it was mandatory.  Let me tell you kids, once you're in college, you won't get a lot of time to read anything that is not based on a case study or academic journal... Two of my summer books include Les Miserables and Atlas Shrugged.  Yes, honkers but goodies.  Ack!  I cannot contain my intense joy!!!
