There and Back Again... A Spring Break Story

Spring Break evokes images of scantily-clad women and overly-zealous men videotaping them flashing their breasts in a drunken haze.  However, that's not so true for me and my friends...

Move in on Vancouver, BC.  Three girls driving through the rainy streets of Downtown.

Yeah, we spent our SB in the great north country of Canada.  Fully clothed and then some.  Every person asked us "Why did you come here?"
"Well, Mexico was closed..."

I don't really know why we went there but this was our trip:

Day 1:
Me and Berry aka Caroline w/ bangs traveled up to Santa Cruz to pick up Cris.

Day 2:
We all travel to the north... 18 hours of driving.  While going up through Shasta we had to get snow chains which we ended up not even using...  That night when we got there we went to Mickey D's and no joke saw 9 hookers lined up along Kingsway.  Really?  Wow.  Moving along... the hotel sucked... I could've spit on the walls and it would've been an improvement.

Day 3:
We pack up and go to the oh so wonderful Sheraton.  Loved it.  Great view and all around amazing.  We went around downtown walking in and out of shops.  Shopping is what we do best.  Later on, we went to a pub and hung out with some Aussies who gave us a 101 on their slang.  Then met some male Canadian cheerleaders who thought we were down but we weren't down.... hahaha.

Day 4:
We're onto Seattle.  The guy at the border was also curious why we decided to go to Canada for SB.  He thought we were smuggling drugs...  Anywho, while in Seattle we went on the Underground Tour.  Legit.  Explored Pike Place.  Took my infamous picture with the piggy.  Saw some bums... more like a lot of bums.

Day 5:
Thus began the intensely long drive home... 16 hours.  Burned through almost a whole audiobook (which is to remain nameless).  Got some Voodoo Donuts in Portland.  Butts numb and overall ready to be home.

I'd say we covered a lot of ground on our little adventure... the next day we just chilled and watched 30 Rock.  NBD.  But I love it.  It's not just the traveling but spending time with my best friends who just get me.  We all get each other.  I'm pretty sure we could go to ho-dunk Indiana and still have a blast.

Ain't got nothing on us.
